The Cérévia marketing union comprises 5 cooperative groups in Burgundy, Franche Comté and Rhône-Alpes-Auvergne (see map opposite).
When they founded this union, the cooperative involved put in place an effective organisation to provide a logistics service for the quality cereals produced by farmers in Burgundy, Franche-Comté and Rhône-Alpes.
Cérévia has made it possible to significantly develop its member cooperatives’ presences on the Mediterranean Basin market via the multimodal port facilities at Fos-Sur-Mer.
The Cérévia union is chaired by Marc PATRIAT (CEO, Dijon Céréales).
Fouzia SMOUHI is the Managing Director of Cérévia.
A truly large-scale project
Marc PATRIATCEO, Dijon Céréales
Cérévia is about 15,000 farmers and 8 cooperative groups choosing to collaborate in order to promote a territory that covers 2 large regions: Burgundy-Franche-Comté and Rhône-Alpes-Auvergne.
Together, we have secured our cereal outlets and developed new tools to better meet our clients’ needs and quality expectations.
Thanks to Cérévia, we have put in place a competitive system enabling us to be a strong performer on the market while ensuring a better return on our farms’ investment.
Cérévia’s listening to his customers
Fouzia SMOUHIManaging Director, Cérévia
Valuing productions means first and foremost listening to those who use them to better support those who cultivate them. The vast territory (Bourgogne Franche-Comté and Rhône-Alpes Auvergne) covered by Cérévia allows to respond, through a diversity and complementarity of cultures, all the expectations of our customers. Our ambition is to contribute to sustainable and differentiating sectors in order to create added value at all levels, from production to processing of cereals and oilseed crops. This commitment is accompanied by know-how in logistics flow management (silos, river and sea ports, transport partners) which gives us all the necessary reactivity to satisfy our customers.
